I wanted to go to an exotic place so I went to Oman.

oman vacations are really quite amazing despite a few annoying problems. My Oman travel experience included many activities that the average Westerner has not experienced. For instance, during my Oman holidays I rode a camel, wore traditional Arabic clothing and ate while sitting on the floor cross legged. We had traditional Middle Eastern food like hummus, tahini, pita and dried dates. Since I was on a special cultural immersion Oman travel tour, there was little to no Western food available. We weren’t allowed to have pork or alcohol, which really annoyed me since those are two of my favorite things ever. I had smuggled a bottle of whiskey into Oman in my luggage, but a tour guide found it and poured it out on the ground. The nerve - I was paying good money for Oman holidays, but they wouldn’t let me do everything I wanted! I eventually got over it when the Oman travel group took us to see the sun setting over the mountains of sand. It was the most beautiful sight I have ever seen, and it made all the hassle of the Oman vacations worth it. I invited my sister to come with me for the next Oman holidays group tour. I think she would really enjoy it since she loved visiting Egypt so much. The only problem she might have with it is the fact that Oman vacations are rather sandy with occasional dust storms.
