One of my favorite authors is Randy Wayne White. He writes mystery novels based in the southwest Florida area. The main characters home base is in Sanibel. A good friend of mine and I share the stories and discuss them together and we recently had a battle as to whether or not Sanibel Island scuba was mentioned in any of White’s books. We combed through them and can’t find a mention of the place. Then I remembered that he used to write under the pen name Randy Striker. I knew I had read it somewhere and of course found it in one of his Randy Striker books.
