Ayia Napa

Until fairly recently in the history of Cyprus, Ayia Napa and the southeastern side of the island was fairly underdeveloped. In fact Ayia Napa itself was a quiet little village town with a tiny population.

In just a few years, Ayia Napa has been through a complete transformation. During tourist seasons, little evidence of its quiet past remains.

Ayia Napa is full of bars and clubs, who every year are attracted to the town in their thousands. Of coarse, it is not the clubs that is responsible for that attraction. The area is also a magnet for those seeking the sun and its beaches.
