Airport Improvements to make Cancun Trips easier

Some much need improvements are coming to the Cancun Mexico airport. While the terminal itself is relatively new, modern, and easy to navigate, the airport has only one active runway. During the peak winter season, in the early afternnon when the majority of international flights arrive and depart, this can mean long waits on the tarmac for take off slots, or a few extra circles above the city before landing. Soon your Cancun trip will be sped up by the addition of a second runway that can be used simultaneously with the first, as well as a completely new control tower to keep traffic moving smoothly, swiftly, and safely.
