I’ve never met my instructor — but that’s okay!

I have been a computer student for a number of years now — I have taken a wide variety of courses dealing with software and hardware, operating systems, programming, web design — yet even though I have acquired an online education that is quite extensive, I have yet to meet any instructors! That’s right — I have never seen any of them face-to-face. The reason is obvious: all of my education has been conducted via the Internet, and I have never actually attended a class — but that’s okay, I have not suffered in the least. I’m not saying that the personal touch is unimportant, just that it was not necessary for me. I have received a great education, even though every course I have taken has been in the privacy of my own home.
