Rocky Mountain National Park In Both Summer And Winter

There are many national parks which provide you with the opportunity to slip on a comfortable pair of Timberland hiking boots and head out for the day, but few allow you to really enjoy the park at its best in every season of the year. The Rocky Mountain National Park is however one exception to the rule. Unlike many other parks, Rock Mountain National Park is open throughout the year and can often provide even more beautiful views in the fall and winter than it does during the summer, and does so without the crowds. But, do not forget that there is much more to the park than simply its views and you can spend a wonderful couple of hours out of the weather by visiting such things as the Moraine Park Museum, which houses many items from the area and provides a wonderful overview of the flora and fauna of the Rocky Mountains.
