My Pet Goldfish

At this point in my life, still living alone and in my forties, I’ve come to the conclusion that just keeping a pet goldfish isn’t going to cut it anymore. Sure, the rigors and stresses of goldfish care have been running me ragged and keeping me busy, but in all seriousness I either need a girlfriend or a dog and I need it as soon as possible. With a dog, I would have to take him or her for regular walks and I would have a constant companion who would be willing to greet me with warmth and affection at the end of a long work day. Also, unlike my fish, the dog will be able to keep me active, running for walks, playing Frisbee and fetch, etc. All in all, in the goldfish was great when I was a younger man, but at this point, it’s time for something different.
