Breast Feeding: Is Amazing

July 31, 2009 on 2:36 pm | By admin | In Miscellaneous | No Comments

Feeding infants and newly born kids directly with breast milk from a woman?s breasts is called breastfeeding. Human breast milk is the most recommended healthy form of milk intake for new born babies or even infants for that matter. Six months is generally the duration recommended by physicians to put the infants or new born babies to breastfeeding.

Breastfeeding a child is very important but care must be taken to ensure that the mother is free of infections like HIV or tuberculosis and is not under drugs. Breast feeding is the best way to prevent infant deaths due to diarrhea in both developing and developed countries. A nutritious intake for infants, yet available at no feeding cost, breastfeeding is the best to promote good health and prevent diseases. My next post will be about, breast feeding.
