If you’re selling your house, this has serious implications as even if you don’t need money from a bank, first time buyers do and if they can’t get it, everyone on the ladder is affected.
New house buyers need capitol from a lender and many banks seem them as high risk at the moment. The result, is chains falling apart because finance at a certain level can not be secured so even if you asked someone ‘will you buy my house please’ and they’ve said ‘yes’ there is stilla good chance it could all fall through.
