Investment Real Estate In Toronto Not What It Once Was

There has been a lot of talk recently of how well the markets are recovering but we may be jumping the gun just a little bit.  The reason is rental rates.  There is quite a bit of real estate in Toronto and other Canadian cities that was purchased as an investment in the hopes of generating an investment income for the owner.  However the recession is having a negative effect of rental rates.  This means that owners are either finding it more difficult to rent their properties or getting less rental income for them.  This may lead to a glut of homes on the market as investors try to cash out which would cause prices to fall.
