Good communication skills are a must

One of the things that I look for in a good Singapore maid are his or her communication skills. There is no way that a maid or housekeeper can properly carry out their duties if they cannot communicate effectively with those in the home where they are employed. In our family we speak English, so our housekeepers must have an excellent command of the English language — they must be able to speak it as well as fully understand it when it is spoken to them. If their language skills are not up to par, then miscommunication is certain to occur — often times with disastrous consequences.
