Feeding Your Freshwater Angelfish

April 30, 2009 on 6:10 am | By admin | In Home | 1 Comment

There is a danger of overfeeding freshwater angelfish, as they don’t know when to stop eating and the excess food causes excess waste which then causes bad water quality and this can cause your fish to get sick. A mixture of flaky, live and frozen fish food is their preferred diet. Overfeeding will cause them to grow fat, slow down and eventually die prematurely. For the most part these are very peaceful fish but when threatened or if their family is threatened they can become very aggressive. If you have an aggressive angelfish you may need to separate it from your other fish.
