My brother needed to do something really amazing to get an 4.0 for his arts appreciation course in college. He’s never really been the artistic type which was why he drove 20 miles just to see me and beg me to do his finals piece. I’m not the bragging type but I’ve been a state arts champion for two years, so when my brother asked me to do it I decided to say yes and come up with a good piece but not too good to give him away. I asked him to buy glass mosaic tiles and come back a couple of days after. When my brother saw what I did with a 12 by 6 canvas and some miniature tiles even he told me that he couldn’t bring up the nerve to pass off the work of art as his. He didn’t get a 4.0 on his final but that mural that I did for him still hangs in his room to this very day.
