This brief, two-step sequence of postures works to flex and stretch the spine. Come to your hands and knees, placing your hands in front of your shoulders and your knees hip-width apart.
Inhale as you arch your back, lifting your tailbone and dropping your stomach while you raise your head. Next, exhale as you drop your head and pelvis and arch your back in the opposite direction. Repeat the stretch several times, being sure to stretch gently and move with care.
