What Are Mudras?

The most famous mudra is the fore-finger touching the thumb. These two finger symbolize the connection of the physical and the spiritual.
If you hold them facing up, it indicated you want to move spiritual energies up.
If you hold them face down, it indicated you want to move spiritual energies down.
Simply holding the two together exerts a calming influence on the universe and yourself as well.
There are dozens, even hundreds of mudras. Some of done with the fingers. Others are done with the whole body.
Some of these postures are very well known. Others were kept secret for centuries.
