Today is a Lazy Day

June 30, 2009 on 5:18 am | By | In Arts

Right now, my dad is at an air strip and he is flying around his model airplane. I had thought that he would have asked me to go with him to watch him fly, but I was still in bed when he left.  Since I will be home for most of the afternoon, I figured that I could take advantage of the free ares download that I just got.  I am going to watch as many new movies as I possibly can in one afternoon.  I could go outside, but I just don’t feel motivated to. Today is going to be a lazy day.

I have been talking with some musical friends of mine about the guitar.  It seems that I know over 10 different people who play the guitar, but we can never get together on any kind of regular basis to get me learning.  I really want to learn, but have just found out that my schedule makes no sense to have any kind of regular lessons.  This is where Jamorama comes into play.  This new software that I found online is not only perfect for my schedule, but it has amazing lessons.  I honestly feel like I am getting better on a day to day basis.

June 3, 2009 on 6:55 am | By | In Arts

A few night a week, I teach music classes to adults and children and I do think I do a very good job.  I am beginning to teach a beginners class with people of all different ages and everyone gets along fine.  They first thing I was teach them was how to learn scales for guitar which can sometimes be quite difficult.  Learning how to read music is something an individual has to be dedicated to and much practice frequently.  I think that all my students understand that and all of them are starting to catch on fairly quickly.  They will be learning how to play their favorite songs in no time.

Foot Tattoos Can Be More Painful

May 27, 2009 on 4:22 am | By | In Arts

There are some good reasons why Foot Tattoos are rarer than other tattoos, though. In fact, there are some tattoo artists who won’t even undertake them, just like hand and face tattoos. For a start, tattoos on the foot and hand tend to be more painful than other tattoos. The general rule is this, if a tattoo is right over bone, it will hurt more. If it’s on a fleshy part of your body, it’ll hurt a lot less. That’s why a shoulder or upper arm might be a better place for a first tattoo – if you’re a little worried about the pain and not sure what to expect.

Why Leather Craft is Time Well Spent

May 26, 2009 on 9:18 am | By | In Arts

People who work with leather know something the rest of us don’t, and that is how rewarding it is to make a gift, or create a custom designed piece for someone. If you like to draw, then it’s an easy transition to transfer your design to leather by stamping it or etching and painting for example. The thing about leather craft is the durability of your work and how much someone will appreciate it. Imagine giving a loved one something you’ve made by hand like a leather wallet or purse knowing they could use it for years. Take leather motorcycle saddle bags for instance. They could be made from heavy cowhide, look good once you polish them and last for the life of the bike. It could be a conversation piece for years to come.

Boston Probate Attorney Handles Estates

May 26, 2009 on 5:33 am | By | In Arts

When my brother died, he left no will behind. He never married or had children, and our parents had long since passed away. Everyone was asking me what I was going to do, and it quickly became overwhelming. My aunt gently suggested that I contact a Boston probate attorney, and I agreed that it was the best thing to do. I called and scheduled an appointment, and I was put at ease right away by my lawyer. He assured me that he would handle the details, and lift the burden from me. He guided me through the process of probate, and everything was settled within several months.
