Should I Get A Tattoo Like My Friend?

October 8, 2008 on 10:52 am | By admin | In Arts

I was wondering if I  should I get a tattoo recently. I was talking with a friend over coffee and she mentioned that she had just got herself a tattoo to celebrate her divorce. I was intrigued and asked why. She told me that she had always wanted to get a tattoo but her husband had always said no.

Not wanting to create a problem with her husband she had resisted the urge for all the years she was married. When the marriage fell apart and she finally got divorced it seemed a good way to mark the occasion so now she has a tattoo design of a cracked wedding bell on her shoulder. Very appropriate I thought.

Defining art framed stamp sounds easy. In reality, there are many different types of rubber stamps, and what make defining ‘rubber stamp’ so hard is that the different types of rubber stamps are very different. The only commonalities are that they all use ink, and they use a rubber surface to create the stamp impression.    Rubber Stamp varieties can be narrowed into 3 categories:  (i) traditional wooden/plastic handle stamps  (ii) self-inking stamps  (iii) pre-inked stamps.    Traditional wooden/plastic-handle stamps  Traditional rubber stamps are the ones that you press onto an ink pad first and then onto the surface you wish to stamp. These are the original rubber stamp and are still extremely popular today. The popularity exists because…

Attend A Dance Class

September 7, 2008 on 1:12 pm | By admin | In Arts

Attending a dance class could be right up your street. You get in shape, you make some chums, and you can dance your behind off. Quite simple really, and completely worthwhile.I came across this class when surfing the net with Yahoo, I typed in dance classes North London, and up they came, again: Easy really. So far I have been three times, and am still as keen as heck. I guess this may be down to the dull throb in my legs, which shows it must be doing some sort of good; either that or I might be dying. Ho ho ho.Get some classes today, and you won’t be disappointed.

design a tattoo

September 6, 2008 on 4:17 am | By admin | In Arts

I think if you are going to get a tattoo you should design your own. That is the only way to do it. It is personal to you, and you will appreciate it that much more. You also won’t make the mistake of just picking a tattoo to just have one, and then later not liking it. A tattoo of your own design like custom cross tattoos, will make it that much more meaningful. I mean take an idea like that, a symbol that is recognized, and tweak it to fit your own likes. Add other things to it to say something significant about your life.

old shopping mall

August 29, 2008 on 7:18 pm | By admin | In Arts

There is this old shopping mall that is down the street from my parents. When I say shopping mall, I mean more like a strip mall where you can walk inside in one section. This used to be the coolest place ever. I remember my dad would get his hair cut inside, and there would be a music shop that I would always peek inside the window. They would have signs like, “Reviews of Learn and Master Guitar.” I secretly always wanted to go in and play. Now it is like two stores, and that’s it. I wonder how it stays in business?
