Master’s Degree
May 30, 2008 on 4:17 am | By admin | In BusinessI am currently working on my Master’s degree in Spanish. As part of my coursework, I have to act as a translator for a local business who needs my services. They work in advertising, so it is sometimes difficult to come up with an English equivalent for colloquial Spanish or vice versa. So far, they have been impressed, calling me a “quality Spanish translator“. I would not mind doing some translating once I am finished with the degree because it helps me hone my grammar and expand my vocabulary. With all the practice I have had, speaking Spanish is almost as natural as speaking English. I am officially bilingual!
