I’m pretty lucky when it comes to homeowners who are facing problems. I still have my job, I have some money in the bank, and I’m not going broke or anything. But I’ve heard that even with all these things, if I still have more money going out than I have coming in, I could very easily qualify for a loan modification program. From everything I’ve heard these are totally on the up and up. They’re used mostly for people who are facing foreclosure, but you don’t have to be to qualify for one. All you need is to demonstrate that your income isn’t matching your expenses.
