Construction agreements must comply with local laws to go ahead

The amount of new projects that can come through a shire office for approval is extensive. The department where I work focuses on construction agreements. Each proposal needs to be read through to determine whether it complies with local legislation or not. The planning approval and permit for development is not provided until the development plans are up to scratch. Developers are required to adhere to local standards. Any breaches can result in heavy fines or the cessation of the project. My job is to make sure that each project applicant is made aware of areas that need to be amended in order to comply.
