Entry level work is often doing pre-delivery inspections, routine maintenance and/or assisting a senior technician on a major repair. It is a myth that young Americans are any lazier now than they have ever been, but finding basic level living wage, entry level work is much harder for them that it ever was. I believe that the highest paying entry level job is in Computer Programming especially in the USA. The entry level job is the hardest to get. Entry level jobs are defined as non-supervisory, non-managerial, non-professional positions. For young people, an entry level job is seen as the key to regaining self-esteem.
