It’s always a leap of faith to start your own business. It’s especially nerve racking in these uncertain times. You don’t want to end up losing your shirt, but there are a lot of opportunities. We really did our homework to determine what would be the best industry to ride out the recession. We ended doing trucking. We had to lease our truck and also cover the lorry insurance, but the start up costs were really quite reasonable. We figured it was worth the risk, because even when times are tight, people still need groceries and someone has to be bringing them in.
