Woman Leads Police on a Car Chase

A woman was arrested by the Washington State Patrol, after she led them on a high speed chase through the Yakama reservation, on Monday morning.  The chase began at 12:50am on South Camas Avenue and took troopers on a chase through U.S. 97, Fort Road, Brownstone Road, and other routes.  The chase reached speeds of 90 miles per hour.

Troopers flattened two of the tires on the car using spike strips, which slowed her down.  Then another trooper bumped the rear of the car causing it to spin and come to stop.

The identity of the woman has not been released.  Neither has the reason for why she was stopped or why she decided to take police on this wild chase.
